Be entertained as the Chef’s at Shinju combine cooking with theatre, bouts of juggling, singing and throwing food. The harmonious combination of fine food and friendly service make Shinju Northside a particularly inviting experience.

Drawing on a 200 year tradition of Teppanyaki cooking, dishes are prepared using a selection of the freshest seafood and finest meats, which are prepared to your personal specifications. Diners enjoy premium seats at this theatrical display of culinary skill, as the chefs (who are more like magicians) toss together your meal with breathtaking dexterity.

At Shinju, diners are seated around a central cooking area where you can watch the skillful chefs cook the best quality meats in front of you throwing food.

As a favourite of visitors from all over the world and as a popular meeting place of celebrities, we offer guests superb dining and sincere and attentive service, Japanese style.

Shinju North Sydney is fully licensed and also has private rooms available.

We are open for lunch Tuesday to Friday and dinner Tuesday to Sunday.
